WCB case manager’s role

WCB-Alberta case managers rely on regular reporting from health care providers to assist them with making benefit decisions.

Case managers provide quality proactive services to clients who require injury, medical, vocational and/or rehabilitation management to help in their safe and early return to productive employment or employability. They are responsible for assessing, planning and facilitating the right benefits and services to meet return-to-work goals for injured workers.
