Safety associations promote workplace safety through education and other initiatives.
They can help you lower your premiums by working with you to develop a health and safety program that can help you achieve a Certificate of Recognition (COR).
If the safety association is designated as an accredited certifying partner, they can also assess your current health and safety program and issue a COR in conjunction with the Government of Alberta.
To join a safety association, contact an association which best suits your business operations and ask them how they can assist you.
