Office ergonomics workshop

The well-being of all Albertans is and has always been our first priority.

In light of recommendations from public health officials to minimize the spread of COVID-19, all in-person seminars and workshops have been cancelled until further notice. We will update this page as new information becomes available.

We apologize for the inconvenience.

Full-day workshop 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

The workshop is designed for office supervisors, human resources staff and health and safety specialists to help office employees prevent and reduce discomfort and injury.

You will learn how to:
  • Identify a potential risk before an injury happens.
  • Analyze the risk and determine a solution to eliminate discomfort and reduce the frequency of injury.
  • Adapt job tasks to workers’ physical abilities.
  • Teach your staff how to do their jobs safely to reduce the risk of injury.

In a small group session, participants will apply what they have learned through case studies, videos, pictures and best practices.
